Adolescence is the ideal time to correct dental misalignments, as from the age of 12 onwards is the period when the greatest growth and development of the jaws occurs and we have the permanent teeth in the mouth.

Therefore, the types of orthodontic treatment for adolescents differ from treatments performed early in children.

There are different orthodontic appliances and devices to perform corrections, whether fixed or removable.

Among fixed appliances, we offer transparent ceramic brackets and conventional metal brackets, according to the patient’s decision.

Regarding removable appliances, we offer Invisalign Teen. It consists of transparent removable aligners that are virtually invisible. This treatment follows the same technique as Invisalign aligners for adults but incorporates special features to adapt them to the activity and lifestyle of adolescents and thus guarantee treatment success.
